If you really believe that the US gvt paying back $ 3 000 000 000 000 to all African American descendants of slaves would have a positive effect on the black community as a whole then yes you should push it forward.
the AA population is ~ 39 000 000 so that would make ~ $ 77 000 per individual
if every African American became $ 77 000 richer overnight then over time the whole community will be in a better state than now.
if you believe that every one of you should push it forward
now if you don't believe it you can still support the idea nevertheless but we know there wouldn't be any excuses/justifications left after that

Even if people don't blow the money on bullshyt (clothes, cars, rims, etc) in the long run it still wouldn't benefit us.
If we used that 77k and responsibly paid off our cars, homes, student loans, and invested the remainder in the stock market, mutual funds, etc; all of that money would go right back in the hands of white people since we don't own anything. The black dollar doesn't circulate among black people right now, and I don't foresee that changing if things stay the same after reparations.
Either way, we do deserve reparations, but I don't think right now we are in the position to use that money to implement the kind of lasting change that we need.
