Don't even try to argue with them about this. I tried to argue with these nicki stans about this when they first came out with that ESPN statistic. Nicki charting for that Rae Sremmurd Black Barbies freestyle for one week counts in that stupid statistic. Damn near over half her charted songs are features (also how many of those songs are with wayne or drake?). And I also mentioned it's easier more than ever for an artist with a following to chart. In the past you literally had to work records across the nation no matter how big you are. Now radio stations have all centralized. Literally need to make one phone call to iHeartmedia and you'll have your song playing on the top of the hour, every hour the day it's released. On top of that you'll have spotify, youtube, etc streams.

Remy flow was choppy as fukk but the lyrics was potent. Nicki can easily win and make a more memorable diss track. Nicki is way more versatile. If Remy was as skilled as Nicki on the mic, Nicki couldn't recover but Remy ain't that nice flow wise.

I'm not saying what Nicki should or shouldn't do. My point is that even though she's a public figure, she had awkward family cookouts and tearful phone calls over that whole situation at a minimum. An outsider mentioning it to carry you in public would understandably drive her to want to hit back hard.
