if dude is showing he can get you 15 and 13 per36, you don't bench him. its kind of a no-brainer. you literally switch your stance on Randle on a game-by-game basis. you have a PF in his first NBA season putting up 11 and 10 in 28 minutes, who's showing drastic improvement as the season progresses, and your talking about benching dude. smh

I thought you'd learn from calling Russell a bust 10 games into the season...guess not
enes kanter per 36 21pts/13.6 rbs why isnt he starting breh

How is this funny? Dude has logged the majority of his minutes at PF

Yes, but that's because of their lineups. Giannis has been running the point for long stretches over the last 15 games. Is he a point guard now?

Really, you want to qualify Parker as a PF, because you think it buoys your argument for Randle... it's transparent and honestly, a little lazy. :yeshrug:

I'm qualifying Parker as a PF cause that's the position he plays. Giannis has been Milwaukee's primary ball-handler..that doesn't make him a PG

I'm not gonna call Parker a SF when he's played the majority of his minutes as a PF. Makes no sense. Yall just want to classify him as something else cause he's one of the worst rebounding PF in the league

RANDLE IS A BETTER REBOUNDER AND MUCH BETTER POST SCORER..ODOM WAS MORE OF A FACILITATOR

Odom averaged 17 a game at his peak, so while he was a facilitator, he could also fill it up a little. Odom shot more freethrows per game... by about 50%, He also more of his shots around the rim a much higher percentage around the rim, even though randle is the "much better post scorer"

Odom was also a much better defender, and he was a better passer with a better ast/to ratio.

Basically, he was a better, more complete player.

It's because Kanter is one of the worst interior defenders in the league, and even he protects the rim better than Randle :francis:

More importantly...they both from UK:ahh:

Randle has never been a good defender though, not even in college. He's a rebounding machine...that's all:manny:

The real football is the most popular sport on the African continent :dame:

Just admit you like seeing young black males get head trauma for relatively low pay :dame:

Relatively low pay compared to what the league and team owners make :stopitslime: Low pay compared to what NBA, MLB, NHL and damn near every other professional athletes make.

Non guaranteed contracts, brain trauma, average lifespan is 55, yeah sounds like a great sport :camby:

Well, I didn't bring up the conversation -- technically it was YOU comparing them. I just responded.

But at this point, it is EASY to project the fact that Randle is never going to be a plus defender. Just as it's easy to project that he's going to be a very good rebounder.

Those between his lack of length (standing reach specifically) and his lack of explosiveness... he's never going to be able to consistently challenge or alter shots.

I like Randle, I think he can be a really useful player. Definitely starter quality, tenacious rebounder... could be tough from the mid post, and be strong in an offense that gets him into open space.

But rookie or not, he's simply not as skilled as an 18 year old Odom was, let alone rookie, or mid-career. There's no shame in that, few players have been.
