dudes really caping for stiff Randle
He's trash but he wears a Lakers uniform...dudes really caping for stiff Randle
Resorting to "IF" scenarios. I guess reality just ain't doing it for you.
The reality is Jabari is the better player. Lakers fans, I swear. SMH.
Well for starters the majority (if not all) of the people arguing that Randle is better in this thread, don't even watch Parker play. They're just simply arguing to prop up a Lakers player over another in the same class (who was projected to be better but since they're just box score watching, think they can use his numbers against him) - if Parker was on the Lakers - we wouldn't even be having this conversation
Why can it not be argued that Randle is better than Parker?
Kidd's not using him right (there's a logjam where he works best on the floor), and he isn't get the touches he needs to showcase what he's capable of and develop. He can create his shot against any type of defender. His defense ain't the best by any stretch of the imagination, but that's mostly down to the scheme and lack of a consistent defensive anchor.Parker has no position, can't hit the 3, has bad conditioning, can't keep up with SFs, can't bang with PFs, and doesn't do anything that well besides scoring from midrange.
That's because he isn't getting the opportunities to do so. He's getting the scraps on offense in a crowded frontcourt - Julius basically has free reign with Hibbert and Lance Jr either injured and/or being non-factors - he can crash the boards, he can run with the ball on the fast break after pulling down a rebound, he can get hustle points when teams let down the guard, the guards are using him on PnR/PnP and second chance opportunities more than any other big on the squad. If anything they are both around the same level right now. Parker is more polished offensively right now, but he isn't producing at a level that makes him incomparable to Randle. (I understand the premise of the thread is Julius > Jabari, which I think can go either way right now, but some of you all seem to strongly disagree with even saying its a wash)
Based on what exactly? You want to talk about future and potential? Well Parker's motor and drive is very questionable, and there is reason to believe he might not work on his game and body enough to reach his potential. Meanwhile even the biggest naysayer can't deny Randle's motor and drive. They both got season ending injuries last year and Julius came in to the season in the best shape of his life and is playing basically his rookie year.
Based on him gaining a lot of weight the last two times he has had major injury, constantly looks soft and flabby, and that he often noticeably looks fatigued when I watch him. He absolutely needs to work on his body to be the player he has potential to be. I like Jabari and hope he does become a great player.Well for starters the majority (if not all) of the people arguing that Randle is better in this thread, don't even watch Parker play. Randle would be lucky to get 20 minutes a game in Milwaukee. Put Jabari on this team with the injury to Lance Jr, and he'd average 16+ ppg on good efficiency while being a threat to score in any situation for them. Randle is just basically out there as a garbage man.
Based on what exactly?
It seems like to me you're regurgitating plebeius talking points, he's actually been busting his ass since coming back from injury. All Randle has got going for him is his hustle, his ceiling isn't particularly high and he has horrible touch around the rim; bully ball without the athletics gifts to makeup for his shortcomings.
i dont think your bytch ass watches randle

Randle averaging 12 and 12 off 48% the last 11 games. Better than Jabari giving you 12 and 5, don't care how you try to spin it. Just take the L fam. Randle will be averaging 20 and 10 next year@CantStop @Full Measures
