It was right after the 1st half of Lost Season 3, which was awful (which had the Jack tattoo episode :snoop:) and Heroes had just started and was killing the game. nikkas everywhere were throwing dirt on Lost and claiming Heroes was gonna be the best show on TV. They were having live discussions on G4 after every episode.

Then Lost got better almost immediately (that Season 3 finale :ohhh:) and Heroes.....man, I ain't never seen a fall off so sudden and so deep. :to:

I still can't believe how hard Heroes fell off. :to:

I remember fooling myself every week saying that this is the week it's going to reclaim its season one greatness. :snoop:

It was a wrap after the Writer's Guild Strike. That was the killing blow right there, the budget clashing with Heroes' imagination was no help on it's struggle to survive either.

That's why we ended up with characters having coconut powers and we never really got to see a 100% Peter and Sylar fight.

Topped off with massive character derailments and corny ass plots this show was ready for the body bag.

In retrospect there both lame now. Heroes obviously got very terrible very fast and Lost fukked up with the last season.

Heroes REALLY just fell off. If you looked up "Fell From Top Ten to not even mentioned at all" Heroes season 2 onward would be the poster. It just simply got horrible.

Lost, even with the Season 3 filler, had very good writing and they kept the characters engaging until the end. You REALLY wanted to see those characters workout all their bullshyt and figure out a way off the island. I'd honestly go as far as to say that the 3rd season, 4th Season, and 5th season finale's were some of the best written, interesting, and engaging television that your likely to see for awhile.

Both went from top ten to not mentioned at all but Heroes really fukked everything up, that show was destined for greatness.

The set-up was perfect and next thing you know...pure shyt.

I still say the biggest mistake Heroes made was not killing Sylar at the end of Season One.

I liked lost until the last 5 episodes when I was clear they were not going to answer questions like Unanswered questions - Lostpedia - The Lost Encyclopedia
