Gillie was around Cash Money during parts of the SQ era, but the point was that Wayne recorded those tracks while he was estranged from the label...Gillie was living on Baby's bus and carrying his weed...and wayne was doing his own thing with Sqad...alot of what ended up becoming C1 (definitely all the non-Mannie Fresh produced tracks), were made with no direct CM involvement...confirmed by ex SQ members while they were beefing with Wayne and had and took every chance to shyt on him at the time...they put out the original and a gang of other stuff made in those sessions as a mixtape with all kinds of commentary about the making of it, years after the beef with Gillie...if somebody supposedly ghostwrote for you, and you denied it...would you still be releasing material that they supposedly wrote for you years after the fact?

i cant think of any other album that ive personally heard where theres so much blatant ghostwriting. of course thats not counting producer-rap albums. i knew right then and there that gillie was never gonna drop an album on cash money, cuz that wouldve messed everything up.

i always felt that dutch had a hand in some of these verses as well.
