Been a Wayne since "The Block is Hot" he just gradually got better over the years. Now I won't lie he may have been influenced by Jay or even Gillie for that matter but I still don't think he had ghostwriters. Lil Wayne is a punch in rapper. How can someone write for him when he don't even write for himself?

Classic Niccas
threadstarter is in denial.

and wayne was always nice but some of the chit was painfully obvious to the point where niccas was pointing out ghost-bars on the spot long before any scandals rose to the surface.

not to mention theres people signed to young money that you automatically know were signed just to be writers.

No its obvious that Wayne punches in. He'll rap a few bars stop and start again. Thats why he repeat some of the same lines sometime. If he had a team of ghostwriters he wouldn't spit the same bar more than once.

i dont believe he ever did.

Gillie said "Go DJ" was originally "Go EA" (Erie Avenue)

He said that on Power 99 in Philly.

But Go DJ is really an old New Orleans group's song.

Caught in his lie right there :snoop:

And a lot of bars on Tha Carter (the album he supposedly wrote) were recycled from Squad Mixtapes and older cds.

Even on the mixtapes he used old lines from Da Drought 1 and 2.

Real Weezy fans know the deal :myman:
