Didn't they try to recreate it the next night in raw?
I remember when hhh was trying to get sympathy cheers in providence during backlash. He got stretchered out to nanaana hey hey goodbye
Vs Orton in 09 after he jobbed
i kind of remember him getting "please retire" chants after a match in which he was "hurt" or stretchered out of the ring. might have been vs sheamus or orton or somebody

I was gonna come in and say HHH has tried to get that simpathy farewell cheer for years and failed every cotdamn time. But the brehs took care of it first :wow: :pachaha:

lowkey I think if Hunter pulled this stunt today he'd receive a much better reaction. All the NXT stuff, CWC and the recent signings and shyt. He's kind of reinvented himself with the beards.

Depends how long he's on screen before the match. No matter when, he always gets a big reaction when he comes back. But after 1 month of being on TV people go back to either not giving a fukk about him or resent him because he can't help himself, and he's just not likeable.

The night after WM 28 in Miami...when Brock returned, Cena got SCORCHING HATRED..not sure how it sounded on TV but it was hilariously vivid LIVE. After Brock left, Cena stood up for those respect or hard fought cheers after putting the Rock over on the mic earlier and getting whooped by Brock...HUGE "fukk YOU, Cena" chant and all the girls around ringside doing THUMBS DOWN as he walked out looking lost.

Then a few minutes later of course..Bryan came out for the Dark match to a RIDICULOUS ovation:laugh:

:mjlol::martin: the disrespect at having HHH instead of Foley. Foley and Rock were the ones all those viewers in droves flipped over to see when Schiavonie spilled the beans.
I'll never understand why HHH likes to downplay Foley like he does...maybe it's because Foley got over like he did without juicing and politicking lol

New Age Outlaws were selling more merchandise than he was during those DX years.

And yet he's on the front of this shirt instead of Foley.

Honestly, Foley should be replacing Kane on this shirt.

Lol at staying in the ring and looking around with tears in your eyes to get sympathy applause, and all you get is laughs and a "YOU TAPPED OUT" chant

Cena did the same thing once after getting his ass kicked, musta been by Brock. He stayed in the ring and took his time hoping to get the respect of the crowd for a hard-fought battle. Instead they chanted "fukk YOU CENA" :mjlol: You know he felt some type a way
I love when that shyt backfires :laff:.

Just :mjcry:

Kane was the man back then. He deserves to be on there. The peak of his career was during the Attitude Era.
Sure he was. As were alot of others. Vince should be on the shirt. Possibly Jericho as well. There are alot of guys who was the "man" back then. Guys who possibly deserve to be on the shirt but if you are going to pick 5 guys from that time period to place; HHH, Foley, Rock, Taker, Austin should be it. I don't see how anyone can say otherwise.

Triple H has no business being on there at all. He didn't start to pick up steam until the tail end of the Attitude Era which was around late 99-2000.
