1. He plays for a team that uses the blitz a lot which throws off the timing of what teams do in the passing game.
2. Because of his reputation he gets away with a lot of contact beyond 5 yards.
and the jets pass rush has been garbage. If he played for a team like the 9ers with aldon and justin smith it wouldn't even be fair

he's mostly hype. he rarely plays against great WR's. He gets the bills, patriots, dolphins don't have great WR's. The Jets get most of their pressure through blitzing. Revis aint better than Charles Woodson in is prime years and even some of the years he was with the packers.
