Champ may not be what he was but he's still in the league while the receivers named in this thread are pretty much finished in the NFL.

basically, alot of these dudes are so fukkin dumb :snoop: like u really think he gon shut down every top wr every week :pachaha: revis got abused many times, by players worst then the players in this thread, thats why i cant even go to broncos forums, they talking bout its time to move to safety or hang it up like he did have a good year, or like he was running right there wit smith, but smith had better leverage and a better position and made the play, but its not like champ got burned, and he played great in the second half of that game, couple trash PI calls and a that bolded drop :manny: i still want him over 97% of the cb

nikka got EMBARASSED by torrey smith. nikka would've got burned even worse but Flacco overthrew him a couple times. Champ is a BIG reason they lost that game. No way can you defend his performance that week :heh:

Champ has never been as good as Revis has been the last 3 years. Revis shuts down number one recievers every single week

Remember when Deion got smoked by Jerry Rice? It happens niccaz, it happens. I seen Champ knock a nicca from the 1 all the way out the endzone without touching the ground.

Breh that list is not impressive.

Revis and his greatness is product of coincidence.

1. He plays for a team that uses the blitz a lot which throws off the timing of what teams do in the passing game.

2. Because of his reputation he gets away with a lot of contact beyond 5 yards.

I'll say the list is impressive but to your second point...your spot on. He gets away with murder. I remember him muggin Brandon Marshall in that MNF game a few season ago. Marshall was still giving him the business tho. I remember me and @HacksawJimThuggin calling Revis out for PI damn near the whole night that game :smh:

yep

even on that pick 6 Revis had, he literally grabbed Marshall's jersey 15 yards down the field and threw him on the floor while the ball was in there air... any other corner in the league gets that flag, but "Revis rules" allow him to play more physical for some reason

While Revis is the best in the game, he does get away with entirely too much contact and holding. But hey, if they don't call it.......:manny:

Super Dale Carter.
