Massacre is my favorite 50 album, as a black 50 fan he just got stale, he dropped way too much material from 03-06, mixtapes, albums, etc. Jimmy Iovine told Fif to stop releasing so much music and let the fans miss him but 50 was like Nah. Also 50's music never evolved, nikka was filthy rich and the hottest musican in music and still making shoot em up, bang bang raps.

I was actually rooting for Kanye to when the sales battle and I was a HUGE 50 stan in the years prior to that.

Also the LOX dropping so many 50/G Unit disses really damaged the G Unit brand. Not to mention Game and his GUNOT movement.

agree with everything except the last about the Lox and Game. Their disses did nothing. like people going well I ain't buying a 50 cent album cuz the Lox dissed them :stopitslime:

why they didn't sell more after their disses tho. :shaq2:
Game been selling less and less after his initial album written by 50 :yeshrug:

50 fell off because nobody stays on top forever. He couldn't evolve his style tried chasing the same formulaic hits.....that's what did him in

Classic moment. That was right after he got the Vitamin Water check.

Song was trash, max b laced that beat but I guess they didn't want to pay. I remember hearing this months before Amusement Park dropped.

The Lox, Game and Cam'Ron disses definitely put a dent in 50 armor. It took a bit away from that "unbeatable" aura that G-Unit had at that time which was a major part of 50's image. They clowned the shyt outta him and paved the way for alot of other artists to come at him. His image definitely took a hit after those disses.

In retrospect, 50s whole movement was corny af.

One of music greatest mysteries is how 50 cent came into the rap game and told people not to like ja rule, and then bit ja rule whole style, and made a career out of it...

Is Wanskta even a real thing people say anywhere ?

50 clowned Ja for making "singy" songs and then made a song called Candy shop :russ:

nikka dancing around in a video with no shirt on with his nipples going into opposite corners like they professional boxers talking about "i take you to the candy shop" "i let you lick the lollipop"

I remember constantly thinking "who is listening to this music?"

Zero effect my ass. Lie to yourself if you want. That Curtis album was trash and nikkas in the hood found those Cam disses funny af. Those disses definitely put a dent in 50 armor.

Massacre is actually way grittier and authentic than "Get Rich", which is crippled by extremely formulaic song concepts and Interscope glory days, there's really about 5 solid songs on Get Rich, and The Massacre has easily double.
This is a terrible take lmao n I defended the massaacre

I was in college breh. If you enjoyed the album cool homie. But at that time where im from, we were listening to Wayne, Dipset, the Roc ,D-block, Tip, Jeezy. I'm leaving some out but those were the heavy hitters for the hip hop crowd dude. Trust me I remember the era well. You coming off like a 50 stan so that's my cue to fall back. Imma man dude I don't dude I don't participate in stan wars.

:mjlol:this isnt some argument...to act like 50 cent wasnt getting play and a ton of it in 2005 at his height is laughable ...personally id much rather listen to dipset or d block or tip myself has nothing to do with that in 05 50 was selling what everyone you named combined X2
