:russ: @ Curry deserving FMVP. Iggy's insertion into the starting lineup (along with David Lee), his defense on LeBron & Delly running out of energy is what turned the series on it's head.

Curry didn't deserve shyt. Dude was shook by Delly's D after being guarded by the corpses of Jason Terry & Pablo Prigioni in the previous round. They probably would've lost in 5 if Kyrie didn't get hurt too.

Also, can we stop the myth of Curry being some transcendent player that makes the Golden State look good because of his gravity? We already saw how well they did without him in the Playoffs last season. Them nikkas are still getting buckets with or without Steph because of their system, versatility & multiple scorers.

HE SHOT 28% OUTSIDE THE PAINT .. LIKE SOME1 ELSE SAID, RUSSELL WESTBROOK JUS GOT CRUCIFIED FOR PUTTIN UP BETTER STATS ON THE SAME EFFICIENCY IN THESE PLAYOFFS. LEBRON WITOUT A SUPERTEAM TO COMPENSATE FOR HIS WEAKNESSES IS BASICALLY A BIGGER WESTBROOK WIT LESS HEART.

Russy was going against a poor Rockets defense and Bron was going against a great defensive team in GSW. One was in the first round, the other was in the Finals.

First off this is not a LeBron hate thread. I don't get into the corny Stan war shyt that be going on here. This is an indictment on the NBA media, which seems like it's been taken over by fukking nerds in the last decade.

LeBron played his ass off in that series. He did his thing. But under no circumstance should a player from a losing team win a finals MVP. None. People were bringing that Jerry West had did it before. Well that mothafukka shouldn't have won it either. And it's a reason it hadn't happens since then.

The vote was 7-4 in favor of Iggy. Steph didn't get one vote. I'm not even mad at that, even though I disagree, but LeBron should have gotten 0. Do y'all know that if that series went to 7 games and the Cavs lost, he might have really won that mothafukka :snoop: These damn writers are on some other shyt. Since win did people start rewarding losing a the highest level. With all that said, LeBron still that nikka

If Steph Curry was half as dominant as Lebron was in that series this would be a no brainer but the very fact that throughout the series people didn't know who it should go to on The Warriors nor who would get it is very telling

Exactly. Says a lot about the league MVP's performance. :scust:

Both
It says a lot about the hyperbole that went along with that series. 26-5-6 on 44% shooting is in line with just about any finals MVP ever and people actually say he got outplayed by a guy who scored less than 8 a game on 28% shooting.

:russell: Numbers don't tell the whole story. Did you watch the games? Steph had little to no impact in 5 of the 6.
What if they differ:jbhmm:

In that series, they didn't. :yeshrug:

Curry averaged 10 more minutes per game in the Finals than in the regular season. Now reevaluate those numbers.

A lot of nikkas nikkas proving they just at look box scores. Steph was notoriously bad in that series, had the whole world talking about Delly. :heh:
