1 PAGE IN AND I DONT SEE ONE MENTION OF THE FACT THAT HE SHOT A DESPICABLE 39% FROM THE FIELD IN THAT SERIES LMFAO

IF ANYTHING, IT EXPOSED HIM AS A STAT PADDER WHO RELIES ON ALPHA SCORERS FOR EFFICIENT OFFENSE

THE MEDIA GOT MOST THIS FORUM BY THE BALLS THO

Man you are full of it.. Bruh legit did not have a choice but to put up good and bad shots. He was the only thing keeping the train running.. I don't think you know what "stat padding" means.. Stat padding is stat in games in obvious blowout situations to improve your numbers just to stay on pace for selfish individual purposes.. I swear words have meaning all people like you try to tangle the meaning of words and phrases for narrative purposes.. Just stop.. Your hate ain't cute bruh

THE GUY WHO HELD LEBRON TO 39% FROM THE FIELD WHILE HE PADDED HIS STATS
Who was he supposed to pass to you dumb fukk?

Unlike your idol he didn't have a prime Shaq down low and chuck his way to a loss like bean did in 04 :umad:

I can see both sides.
I was in favor of him winning the MVP that year cause he was far and away the best individual player in that series.

HOWEVER

What player worth his salt wants to win an individual award while simultaneously LOSING the Championship. How fukking depressing and awkward would that acceptance speech be like? Your holding an individual honor while the other TEAM is celebrating a much bigger, more memorable and historic moment. How would your teammates feel? It's just not a good look at all...

I love how Westbrook this year put up much more impressive numbers in this year's postseason on basically just as awful shooting as Lebron did that finals and he gets absolutely crucified for it, while ESPN and every media outlet rushed to crown KANG James the #2/3 of ALL-TIME in a LOSS to the Warriors putting up worse stats on equally garbage shooting, shyt is straight up autistic. Don't even try to start the "B-b-b-but supporting casts!1!1!!" shyt, Oldaipo, Kanter, and virtually everyone else on the Thunder were unforgivably useless when Westbrook sat, Lebron at least had Tristan crashing the boards with Delly going off for a few games, Russ had less than nothing.

Oh yeah, and for anyone thinking LeBron still should have gotten it because he played the Warriors better than anyone in the postseason and no one did or could have done better than him, here's how Anthony Davis, at only 21 goddam years old in his first and only ever playoff appearance performed against that same team:

31.4 PPG, 11 RPG, 2 APG, 3 BLK, 1.3 STL 54 FG%

And again don't try the "Lebron had no Kyrie and Love, you can't compare the two!!!!!!111!" shyt, AD's 2nd and 3rd best players were chipmunk face ass Eric Gordon and Quincy fukking Pondexter playing through a torn ACL that still hasn't fully healed to this day, AD was on just as much of an island as Bron, with NO playoff experience ever to boot. Meanwhile Lebron puts up 30 or so ppg on 40+ shots a game at <40 FG% playing almost the entire 48 minutes every game and somehow he played better than AD? And Steph too, who took over basically every 4th quarter besides that one bad game 2 with clutch shot after clutch shot and he doesn't even get ONE vote???? shyt is absolutely hilarious, I've never seen a player gifted more for LOSING than Bron has. Where's KD's credit for dragging his young Thunder team through one of the most brutal ever playoff gauntlets to be the leading scorer with 30 ppg at only 23 years of age out of everyone on the Heat and Thunder in his first finals? Where's Steph's credit for leading one of the NBA's most historically pathetic franchises to 3 straight finals in the perenially stacked Western conference? There's none, only Bron gets this kinda credit and accolades for similar feats that end in a loss on the biggest stage. Everyone else is labelled a chucker, a stat padder, a choker, lucky, gifted by the refs, or not actually better than Bron even if he lost to them, just excuse after excuse. It's not like there aren't countless actual wins, championships, and accomplishments that solidify Lebrons place as an all time great player, but it seems like the 6'8 260 lb motherfukker has had every damn L he's ever taken obfuscated and excused into another win for him to go along with it.
You hit the nail on the head breh. This is why I can't fukk with bron or his stans.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I mean

If you can't win an mvp in the regular season without being on a top 3 seed team, then how the hell can you give the MVP to a guy on the losing finals team :russ:

LeBron was incredible that series

@Gil Scott-Heroin statistics don't show how valuable Steph was that series. They were trapping him 35 ft from the basket.

If Stephs teammates were reliable that series would have been over in 4 or 5
:francis:

Only 2 NBA MVP trophies have been awarded to a player on a team with losing regular season record:

  • Bob Petitt in 1955-56 (first MVP ever awarded). His St. Louis Hawks tied 6th out of 8 teams with a record of 33–39 (.458). The team was seeded 3rd in the Western Division and lost in the division finals.
  • Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975-76. His Los Angeles Lakers tied 9th out of 18 teams with a record of 40–42 (.488). The team did not qualify for the playoffs — this has been the only time an MVP played for a team that didn’t make the playoffs.
The only other MVP winners to play for a team that won fewer than 60% of its regular season games are (they still qualified for the playoffs):

  • Moses Malone twice for Houston Rockets, in 1978-79 (47–35, .573) and 1981-82 (46–36, .561).
  • Bob McAdoo for Buffalo Braves, in 1974–75 (49–33, .598).
Of the 61 MVPs to date (from 1955-56 to 2015-16):

  • 39 played for the team with that year’s best regular season record.
  • 23 of them won that season’s championship.

Fool I didn't say he deserved FMVP.. I was a person that understood why people felt that he did but ultimately, you can't give FMVP to a player on a losing team.. He wasn't inefficient on the offensive end because he had to do EVERYTHING. shyt would not have been 6 games if he didn't.. Was inefficient in other aspects of the game in that series? You're being willfully ignorant

:russ: @ Curry deserving FMVP. Iggy's insertion into the starting lineup (along with David Lee), his defense on LeBron & Delly running out of energy is what turned the series on it's head.

Curry didn't deserve shyt. Dude was shook by Delly's D after being guarded by the corpses of Jason Terry & Pablo Prigioni in the previous round. They probably would've lost in 5 if Kyrie didn't get hurt too.

Also, can we stop the myth of Curry being some transcendent player that makes the Golden State look good because of his gravity? We already saw how well they did without him in the Playoffs last season. Them nikkas are still getting buckets with or without Steph because of their system, versatility & multiple scorers.

Yeah the media was hell bent on giving Bron a consolation prize and it fukked over Steph, he was deserving that year, he has some great fourth quarters

they going to try to do it again this year. I'm sick of them pushing LeBron like he's doing something so spectacular. I can't watch this ish no more. I seriously need Golden State to run this dude out the gym

Is this the same type of analysis that led you to dikkriding Harden? :russ:
