Remember that?
Maybe he was wearing the suit, looking the mirror and just analyzing his life or something?

The voice acting was amazing, you don't see that anymore.

Also look at 4mins in with this
see the change in backround music as he gets all emotional because his dad died in the fire?

Man that emotion and passion, you don't see that anymore anywhere nowadays!!!!
Man kids be missing out yo

Spider--Man TAS gets hated on because of it's flaws, but damn that show sure was the epitome of everything that defines Spidey/Pete...all the way to the team-ups.

The writing was excellent that's the best thing I can say about the show and the one thing no one can take away from it. Spectacular is better though:sas2:

Show is right behind X-men and Batman as best animated superhero show

Idk breh, I'm going with Spectacular. For one, it was technically put together better which wasn't the fault of the writers on the Fox show but there were no random cuts or inserts from past episodes.

Peter's supporting cast were all present in Spectacular, including Gwen, Captain Stacy and Sha Shan.

The Green Goblin story was told in such a dope fashion and showed how much of a prick Norman really is

The Daily Bugle was more fleshed out and used better

The Big Man (L. Thompson Lincoln) :banderas:

The enforcers:banderas:

The real sinister six, not some makeshift version called the insidious six complete with an Electro who was the son of the red skull

Too many homages to the comics and the movies

Even the black costume saga was done better :manny:

I know cats on here probably didn't give it a chance due to the animation style but anyone who has slept on it, needs to give it a chance if you call yourself a spider-man fan or a fan of the genre in general.

Good point, Spectacular was amazing as well, but I have nostalgic value for the Spider man Animated Series since I grew up on it

Meh I grew up on it too breh but we gotta be able to call a spade a spade sometimes. I have plenty of sentimentality attached to it and practically none attached to spectacular but I gotta call it like I see it. I loved waking up on Saturdays with a bowl of cereal and watching spidey do his thing but I also loved waking up and watching ninja turtles...but if you ask me which is better between the 87 tmnt cartoon and the 03 one, I know what the answer is because I gotta be objective :manny:

Yeah, to me it's still the GOAT Spiderman cartoon, the writing and characterization was spot on.

The only serious flaw was the censorship, but you can't really blame the creators of the show for that.
