I am :flabbynsick: I remember The 1st Street Fighter when you had pads that you hit. The harder you hit the harder Ryu laid out the beats.

When SF2 dropped..:merchant: shyt was a game changer for real. :dwillhuh:

nikkas I would practice at a bowling alley arcade on SF2 spending all of my little money before going to the mall arcade. It was that serious in there.

Get in line behind brehs...Then line your quarters on the cabinet to signify that you had next. shyt was no joke. Mad heads up In there just watching :lupe:

nikkas getting heated cause I’m cheesing with Guile. Flash kicking brehs to sleep.

The I in Team
Man nothing beat the feeling of respect you could get walking into an arcade and dudes was like “yo that’s that kid I was telling you about!”:gladbron:
To walk into an arcade and another kid would give you a quarter just to watch you play and beast on nikkas. To me the shyt that changed everything with games was Street Fighter 2 championship edition. nikkas would travel everywhere for good competition. Hell I remember seeing a kid getting the piss beat out of him for cheesing. I even posted about it before.

Remember when Arcades were scary?

What a time that was..

That feeling of walking into an arcade, the smell, checking out to see if the newest game that was in gamepro or electronic gaming monthly came out. Used to get geeked out with mortal kombat and tekken. The arcades were better than the gaming console versions. It didn't capture the same feeling especially with mortal kombat 3 and tekken 3 even.

The best arcade I ever went to had to be in coney island back in the 90s even as unsafe as it was. I remember playing mk3 there, picking Jax and losing. Had a fatality pulled on me in the outerworld or clocktower getting impaled by the spikes at the bottom..

At the end of my sr year in high school me and like 4 of my boys would hit one after school and play the car racing game where you all raced each other

Kids these days too introverted for all that...

We used to make friends up in arcades. Dim lit, no windows, those were our "casinos" lol

Hell, I was never really good, just okay, but going to watch some of the pros play was an experience I'll never forget!

That feeling when ya moms would call for you to leave or come in looking for you so ya'll could bounce. The thinking of what you gonna do or play when you go back...

Simpsons, MK's, SF's, XMen Children of the Atom, MvC, TMNT, Killer Instinct, Them Konami games with like 2 or 3 of them in there together (there was one of these machines at our local Pizza Hut also lol)...

Some of my favorites right there lol
