Some of yall probably never really had to deal with that.

The noise would snitch on you if you tried to sneak online late night cause it was loud as hell. Kids these days don't know how nice they have it. Internet porn was laughable back then cause the modems were so damn slow all you could really get was pictures unless you left it downloading overnight. Online piracy was MIRC and downloading stuff in 60 something parts off a chat room bot server.

My parents were cheap as hell. We had the 28.8K modem when everybody else was rocking 56K. Kids today would lose their damn minds at those speeds online.

Stonesages :scust:
Breh that was only like 20 or so years ago. We still had dial up when I was in jr high. I still remember as a kid when we didn't have the internet period. When in school you couldn't construct a book report using Wikipedia sources like kids do now. Encyclopedias and doing actual research. Microsoft Encarta changed the game.

remember vividly having to live of those AOL 90 day trial disks.

Sneaking on the net when I was "grounded" and trying to cover up that dial up sound

The agony of leaving the download on over night, only to find out it stopped or someone picked up the phone.

Trying to rub on out to 10-15 sec clips and steady having to pause to let the video buffer.
