Dawn of the Planet of the Apes hasn't came out yet
The Fly, True Grit, Cape Fear, and Scarface were all cool (Scarface is still overrated with nothing but a great performance from Pacino while the script was garbage), but not GREAT.
Fistful of Dollars was GREAT
Not to the general public, no. :sas1: Its basically the same premise as Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, could be called an "unofficial" remake.

Scarface is overrated thx to rappers and douchebags but its still a good movie and better than the original imo.

They made a film and a television show based off the same novel before the 06 version.

Meh I don't count those and neither should you. The TV version was about Jimmy Bond and he was American to boot. And the movie was a spoof of James Bond almost like an Austin powers flick. Both of those are the equivalent of saying Burton's batman is a remake of the TV show and the matinee serials that used to play in the 40s and 50s

Sorcerer is a remake of Wages Of Fear........and both are exceptional. It's the best example of remaking a classic film; and both holding up on their own as classics.

They're all different interpretations of the James Bond character from the same story in the same series based on the same novel with the same title. Unless you're only counting shot for shot remakes then its well within.the parameters of a remake.

We going to have to agree to disagree on this one breh. All good tho. The only bond movie in my mind that is a remake is never say never again but different strokes I guess
