I dunno, I would rather there being a malleable structure that allows change as we obtain higher understanding over a static dogmatic structure that allows no change and ignores everything.
Scientific theory is not based on fact. It is based off "well-confirmed hypothesis that explains a large body of facts/opinions and which has inspired a large body of research". Which means it is subject to change at anytime
In science 'fact' is an objective and verifiable observation.
Which means a scientific fact is never subject to change but theory is.....
Care to elaborate on why they call it "theory" and not a "fact"? Oh great enlightened one?:obama3:

Evolution is not a fact, it's a theory.....
Scientific illiteracy.
jump out a ten story window and tell me later about your personal belief in what a theory is
It's not my job to educate you, moron. Read a book.
And? All that says is that science is rational and even with a heap of irrefutable evidence acknowledges the small possibility of being incorrect due to knowledge that is yet to be discovered. Can any religion say the same? Yep, didn't think so, even though religious texts have been proven to be wrong and in some instances, absolutely ludicrous, in a lot of ways. All that happens is people saying that now the texts are not meant to be taken literally even though they were when originally written. Go buy yourself a slab of ribs and make some bytches, breh breh.
Y'all are seriously jumpin on this dude for calling the "Theory of Evolution" a Theory? :da hell:
Not because of him calling it a theory but because of what he's implying given his posting history. To him, The Bible = stone cold fact and proven Science = bullshyt.

46% of Americans believe in the literal creation myth of man as told in the book of genesis.
So he's not alone and you shouldn't be bothered by someone else's stupidity.
Just igg it and let him do him.............(the people who do accept human evolution like Chemist, doctors and those who create our life saving medicines and technology are the ones who need to know this info, as long as these important people aren't subscribing to religious mumble jumble then this man's ignorance won't affect you)
and try your best to raise your own kids to be scientifically literate and not to be as retarded as most of America.
All I'm saying is, I won't take something which is subject to change at anytime to the bank.
