You already said not everything is in HD that would be via cable...

You know how easy it is to have Xfinity??? They set it up. I get everything i need. And they extract a couple hundred from my account monthly.

Just saying save all this overboard hustling and do something productive with it...

1. Buy a digital antenna, I have one I paid 10 dollars for on eBay. I get around 19 hd channels :blessed:, clearer than they were when I had cable. Not to mention I never had the CW or Bounce when I was paying a arm and a leg for cable now I have them both.

2. Buy a android tv box

TV Box - Best Android TV Box And Mini PC Deals with Free Shipping | GearBest.com

You can get a quad core with 2 gigs of ram for under 70 bucks, I have a quad core box with only 1 gig of ram and no problems:wow:, just paid 50. Most will come with kodi preinstalled. If not installing kodi is so easy, just open up the browser on the android tv box go to Downloads | Kodi click android arm and voila :blessed:

3. Follow this guide to install fusion and add on installer
Install Addons for Kodi

WIll preinstall the typical apps, genesis (movies/tvshows), phoenix, 1channel etc. :blessed:

4. install ivuetvguide to get around 250live tv channels , hbo, showtime, espn, bbc, etc :wow:
Tutorial How to Install iVue TV Guide Program Add-On Kodi XBMC

5. Call your cable company and tell em to :pacspit:.

with Kodi, I'm not seeing much streaming HD live content. do they have an add on for that?

What about live sports though? Sportsnet, tsn, ESPN, score, plus the networks (A/NBC, CBS?)

I have kodi installed on my MPB now, and it has all the ESPN channels. but the ABC/CBS feeds are only from miami and new york. there's a bunch of sports channels, but I dont know what they are since its summer. plus most of that shyt ain't in HD.

i think the best part about kodi isnt really the live sports, even though that was why i got it in the first place but the movies... the addons are like having Net Flix, instead u have every movie on there that u can think of in high quality... also shows... they have every show u can think of, all the seasons.

Did i mention porn? :sas1:

I agree. that is what I like about kodi. it's the tv show and movie respository.

but if I can't stream HD content reliably, I'm not gonna cut out cable for good. kodi is dope, but it's not quite where it needs to be to be a full time cable replacement.
