I personally won't care either way tbh. But I will say, I think what we need is more original black characters. Not just painting already existing characters black.

That way, the nature of the character can more closely reflect the black experience.

Whatever happened to static shock btw :gucci:? That shyt was dope and just...disappeared.

Race and gender swapping established comic book characters is the laziest way at achieving diversity IMO. It's just corny. Instead of actually making some effort and introducing something original, folks go the lazy route and say lets make such and so a woman, or Black. Comic book movies aren't exactly raising the bar on brain stimulation to begin with, but the whole notion of let's make this character a different race or gender is some hand-me-down clothes sh!t.

I thought it was hilarious seeing the chick who played Valkyrie in the last Thor film. Think about that. Valkyries are based on Norse mythology. We're talking vikings, Odin, paganism, Norwegian, Scandinavia, and all that sh!t. It only makes sense that the comic book character would be a blonde haired buxom white chick. Here comes Hollywood being lazy again, even though they see themselves as daring by putting a Black woman in that role. Sh!t don't even make sense. To illustrate how retarded it really is, ask yourself how you feel about Charlize Theron playing Storm?

I'm thinking if I live long enough, I just might see a trailer for a film about Adolph Hitler and his inner circle with a high ranking Nazi played by a Black man. People will say that's progress too.

There are black people who come from old money. So a Black Bruce Wayne is very plausible. There are black people in the 1% and that inherit generational wealth.

James Forten (September 2, 1766 – March 4, 1842) was an African American abolitionistand wealthy businessman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born free in the city, he became a sailmaker after the American Revolutionary War. Following an apprenticeship, he became the foreman and bought the sail loft when his boss retired. Based on equipment he himself had developed, he established a highly profitable business. It was located on the busy waterfront of the Delaware River, in an area now called Penn's Landing.

Arthur George Gaston (July 4, 1892 – January 19, 1996) was an American businessman who established a number of businesses in Birmingham, Alabama, and who played a significant role in the struggle to integrate Birmingham in 1963. In his lifetime, Gaston's companies were some of the most prominent African-American businesses in the American South.

While working in the mines, he hit on the plan of selling lunches to his fellow miners and then branched into loaning money to them at twenty-five percent interest. It was also while working in the mines that he conceived of the idea of offering burial insurance to co-workers. He had noticed that mine widows would come to the mines and to local churches to collect donations in order to bury their husbands and he wondered if people would "give a few dimes into a burial society to bury their dead".As a result, Gaston formed the Booker T. Washington Burial Society, which later became the Booker T. Washington Insurance Company.

Gaston died at the age of 103. He left behind an insurance company, the Booker T. Washington Insurance Company; a construction firm, the A.G. Gaston Construction Company; and a financial institution, CFS Bancshares. The City of Birmingham owns the motel, which it plans to make into an annex to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, built on the former site of the Booker T. Washington Insurance Company. His net worth was estimated to be more than $130,000,000 at the time of his death.

True. But fukk that. Whites colonized, so Black people should colonize. We should colonize the shyt out of batman and reclaim it as our own. :takedat:

That ain't colonizing. That's taking a glass with water in it that someone else already drank from and left backwash.
