Is not about the race of Batman’s identity since he is a symbol, but it’s Bruce Wayne’s identity and he HAS to be white if he has his old-money and blue blood background which the mythos is is built on.

Someone like Kingpin would fly (and MCD was excellent) since his background wasn’t thoroughly explained like Wayne.
