Sheesh that nikka was a unit

first thought yeah, but a lot of these linemen are a lot more athletic then back then, I’d love to see it

put that nikka on skates

:mjlol:

What’s crazy is think if Jerome never dies could you imagine that duo

And when he got to the packers he was older

Jerome Brown :wow: yeah that duo was something

With Reggie, I remember as a kid in 1998 watching that Packers team that was coming off the loss to Elway in the SB preventing the back-to-back championship and Reggie had arguably his best season at 37 years old!

I can’t find the clip but it was Doug Williams saying after Reggie would sack him he pick him up and go “you ok, ok God Bless you”

Doug was like “he would make sure he blessed you 6 or 7 more times in a game”

The reason they don't talk about Reggie is because he was a very conservative guy off the field. He was very religious, an ordained minister and reserved.

He also had some controversial takes he made when he retired so the liberal media tried to cancel him and which is why they like to pretend he doesn't exist even today. He also wasn't super flashy like Deion or playing coked out like LT.

From the late 80's and early 90's, there was no defensive player better than White and that was arguably the golden age of defensive players.

Reggie White had 124 sacks in 121 games in Philly. And his game was far more than sacks. He was pretty much unstoppable.

It still trips me out that Reggie is remembered more as a Packer it seems than the leader of those all-time great Eagles defenses. I'll always say that the '91 Eagles defense was the greatest defense of all time. What coulda been if Randall didn't get injured the first game of the season.

:mjcry:

One of my favorite Eagles memories was this play. Reggie sacking Bobby Hebert for a safety in the Wild Card round to seal their first playoff victory.

And this used to be one of my favorite commercials. Youtube link is down, this is the only copy I could find.
