Album should have been 12 tracks max. Especially when most of the beats sound the same. But red has always had an issue picking beats after his first 3 albums. It's a shame too cause his pen and flow is still sharp. But the production just feels too outdated. Feels like early 2000's rockwilder shyt. And even back then rockwilder wasn't nice like that.

The smooth tracks are the best cause they feel most current. I would like to hear a whole album of Redman over some Larry June/currensy type production. He always kills it over some smooth shyt. His track on that last phife album was prolly the best track on the album. A whole album of this type of production could be a classic. The flow is still there...he just needs the right beats.

U know Red ain’t finna give us a 12 track album like that.

23 tracks is enough. Including skits

I haven't listened to it yet, but based on what I'm reading online, this might be Red's best album since Doc 2000, which was 24-25 years ago...

I remember about a month ago on Facebook I was listening to Redman releasing a freestyle over a new beat in anticipation of this album, and he surprisingly still sounded good. Red is like Meth in that neither one of them lived up to their potential and fell off; in Red's case, he became very cartoonish in the corniest way once the 2000s came around, but Red at least gave us 3 classics in the 90s.

32 tracks, skits included for an hour and 20 minutes isn't that bad. Yeah, a lot of us have gotten used to albums being less than an hour or at least edging it, but for Red, this might be his swan song for a while, so it makes sense he'd put a lot of effort into this record.

Album is dope. Was bumping this while prepping my brisket and turkey for the smoker tomorrow
:blessed:

My daughter like “can you put on some headphones? :hhh:

No :myman:

Some of the production is underwhelming but Reggie still lyrically sharp as ever. Album is better than Malpractice and Reggie and on par with Red Gone Wild imo which I really liked
