Don’t remember us having an argument about that, i remember you trying to justify being always online for a single player game for 8 pages though

No, at that point the game was more assumed to be something like Destiny, a co-op game with the possibility to play as a single player.

As more info has come out, the game has been revealed to be more like a traditional single player game with a co-op option.

All i ever said in that thread is that the requirement must be justified by some advantage to having the connection. They don’t have an advantage, they are gonna drop the requirement.

GT7: Launches broken with an always online requirement, nobody can even play the game at launch cause the servers are busted. Has egregious microtransactions that take hours of grinding or hundreds of dollars to unlock just a few cars.

Yeah it seemed like a Left 4 Dead Destiny mix style game with Arkane's flair on it, then it was revealed to be more like co-op Deathloop with GAAS

So the confusion is legit
