Reddit science forum bans climate change deniers

I think it is obvious that looking at trends, the earth is getting warmer. However, if we are truly going to think critically

1. A trend looking at several decades is not enough to come to a conclusion regarding what will occur over the next few decades (or next few centuries).
2. We cannot be sure that we can stop or prevent the earth from continuing to warm
3. Banning unempirical and fallacious posters = good. Banning all people who argue a specific viewpoint = bad/ignorant/closed-minded (although I have yet to see empirical/logical arguments from deniers)

That being said anyone denying that the earth has been warming over the past few decades on average, is simply anti-intelligence and anti-knowledge.
