I don't know, every time I pass by a Cheesecake Factory, it's got people waiting outside.

Shyt, when we walked by the one in Waikiki in Honolulu it was PACKED. I'm wondering, who is eating Cheesecake Factory on a Hawaiian vacation? I know no locals would be in there.

I blame social media. Back in the day as long as you didn't take a chick to a fast food restaurant, Waffle House, Dennys, etc on the first date, they weren't tripping. Now they talking about they're too good for Chilli's, Red Lobster, etc.

It was good enough for your mama, auntie, and older siblings so it's good enough for you, hoe!

Red Lobster went through the same process a lot of news, magazine, cable television channels, etc are going through: a VC bought them and deliberately destroyed the business in order to sell assets. In this case Red Lobster was bought, and then the VC bought the land each restaurant was on and started charging them rent. An insane plan unless you want multiple restaurants to go belly up.

They'll create a debt package, sell to the highest bidder, and the executives who pulled it off will receive major financial payments.

KFC is the most popular chicken place not just in the USA but the world. They actually do more business overseas than they do domestically. Ranks 4th worldwide amongst all fast food chains. They not going anywhere. USA locations are essentially WNBA status being subsidized by the their overseas sales.

KFC has contracts on every army base in the world and are everywhere overseas. KFC is trash to us but cheese cake factory to some family overseas.
