The Silence of the Lambs > Red Dragon > Hannibal > Manhunter

Manhunter is real overrated, Cox is nowhere close to Anthony Hopkins. The cat that plays Graham though is better than Norton, I'll give you that.

Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster in The Silence of the Lambs portray the greatest male and female acting in cinematic history.

I watch the show Hannibal and I like it, however, I find the cats on this website overrated it. Just my opinion. :yeshrug:

It's topping end of the year lists all over the 'net for TV in 2014....above "Game Of Thrones", "True Detective", "The Knick", etc.

If nothing else The Coli sleeps on it. The thread with season 1 + 2 is like 1/10th the size of any other popular show thread on here.

See, I like True Detective and Breaking Bad just as much as they're hyped, not this as much though

It's definitely worth a watch. Some of the twists can be contrived as all hell but everyone is great in it and it's seriously one of the best-looking shows on television right now.
yeah, I just checked it on IMDB, good looking cast....and one of my fav bond villians as Hannibal.
@KevCo the show is bananas. The first half of season 1 is good, not great (too much "killer of the week" and some odd story choices) but the second half of season 1 and the entirety of season 2 are fukking insane, and the season 2 finale is my #1 episode of 2014.

Like @kp404 said Hugh Dancy kills it as Will Graham on the TV show. If you don't know why people disliked Norton as Graham, watch the series because the difference is like night and day. You will legit not know whether or not he's crazy on the show.

And this might sound like blasphemy but Mads Mikkelson as Hannibal >>>>>>>> Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal. If Hopkins was given 26 episodes to build the character I'm sure he'd do as good, if not better than Mikkelson but the character is given waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more depth in the series than the movies. He's basically the Devil in the series....charming, charismatic, brilliant and dangerous.

And his suit game. :ohlawd:

More to the point of the thread, season 3 of the "Hannibal" show will feature parts of the Red Dragon story line.

Fred.
if Fred co-signs Im all in :salute:

One of the dopest intros to a film ever, its Brett Ratner's only good film that wasn't a comedy.

Great backup cast too, Harvey Keitel and Phillip Seymour Hoffman

I really liked the moments preceding it where he's at the symphony and invites the board to dinner. And then the scrapbook that follows. Dope.

Whatever happened to Ratner anyways?
