I've always assumed that was the direction they would go in, but with the OG team no longer there I'm not so sure anymore. The reason why I'm against so many unanswered questions in video games is because of what went down at Rockstar. It was clear as day that they planned on adding more single player DLC to fill in gaps and extend the lifespan of the game, but the company decided that the online mode was more important and the developers left in frustration. I remember reading on video game blogs that the developers were planning on having a Blackwater DLC at one point.

I also wonder if this character being cut changed major parts of the story.

They cut the character because like all games the developers felt she was expendable. I'm really missing the time when companies would release the director's cut versions of games. Can you imagine how much Rockstar could make if they released an uncut RDR2? Someone said that the model for Eliza is used as one of the luxury bath women in Valentine.

I don't get how people are still playing GTA Online almost 8 years after the launch. They're the reason GTA 6 is nowhere in sight.
