Online is growing on me on PC...
I don't have the time for the grind and I will never pay for in-game currency but this ain't that bad like GTO was...
If you paying for In game currency at any time, you lost.
The collector role and an online collector map is all you need to get gwap.
I was sitting on 20K and about a solid 70 gold bars off of getting and selling full sets of everything.
That and keeping the daily challenge streak going while doing a few hours online each day, you'll gain.
Especially if you ain't out buying alot of frivolous shyt like extra horses (2, 3 the most you need. It's all about the saddles/Stirrups) or cosmetic shyt past having an outfit for both hot and cold weather.
It's a grind, but you can make it a slow more reasonable one compared to GTA online.
Graphics are ridiculous on PC, and when those mods hit...
BTW I hope I'm not the only one that don't do black folk bounties...
You just know them bounty posters especially in Rhodes and San Denis are bullshyt...

how many hours you have put in this game? i am at the camp site doing the missions. i have the PC version. The game got better due to the game updates and fixes. it was really buggy before. it feels more optimized.

The online is pretty nice for what it's worth but they've been going out of their way to make shyt more difficult in terms of progressing the roles they introduced a few months back.
If by "GTA level" you mean a hyper inflated economy due to cheating/boosting then no, it hasn't happened and hopefully won't. Items are still affordable but you need to do a bit of grinding in order to collect bank.
Of course they selling Goldbars like they did the GTA currency but if you like the game and can play/fukk around for a few hours a day and do shyt in regards to the roles, your money will accumulate along with gold.
The collector Role is the money making venture that funds the majority of whatever you trying to do on there but requires the most work, searching for full sets, but there are maps online that show you where it's at, so just follow, complete, and collect bank.
The Griefers aren't too prevalent these days, but then again I spend alot of this game avoiding other NPC's especially if I'm delivering items for the broken Trader roll or The newly added Moonshine one.
My only gripe with online apart from the camp still being glitched as fukk,is the fact that animals aren't spawning like they should since the new moonshine role is tied to the trader role which is dependent upon animal hunting....but you can make it work when they do spawn.
It's alright. I'm invested so I enjoy it to a point. New comers or folk that aren't as invested might feel a bit overwhelmed but running with a crew helps.

A few tips for the busted ass trader role.
-Animals always spawn during missions. When you out in free roam, them bytches will be SCARCE. You'll be out in the wild hearing pig noises and not see one fukking boar. shyt is infuriating. The minute you hit a mission though, animals will be jumping around like shyts cool.
If it ain't a timed mission, kill you a three pelt buck or something substantial and keep it moving.
- If you have the hunting Wagon, never call it out before you have dead game. Like don't ever jump in that bytch and say "I'm going hunting". 12/10 times shyt will refuse to spawn.
If you happen upon animals out in the wild, just try and kill as many 2, 3 star ones as you can...THEN call the wagon.
- Look to the sky cause at times that's where your game will come from. Animal spawns on the ground are erratic but the game full of them shyt ass cheap Ravens but they usually fly around other birds, so go for those.
I find the swamp the perfect place to hunt for birds cause egrets and cranes fetch decent. That's where I pitch my camp when I can, in Lemoyne cause the swamp banks filled with ducks and cranes when they spawn.
If all else fails, you can try to do that single lobby glitch that they got all over YouTube, but I just ride it out and see what I can find.
Appreciate the tips.
One thing I noticed is that animals seem to spawn more when I start my game out from my camp as opposed to Free Roam. I went out this morning and there were all kinds of animals within a few hundred feet of my camp and I cleaned up.
I do like that a$$holes seem to be few and far between. Only run into one dude just running around the map taking random shots at people. Much different than the online mode on RDR, in a good way.

Only role that's somewhat fun is bounty hunter but even that gets boring cuz they reuse the same 4 locations/scenarios over and over...
