Brehs am I fukking myself in the long run

I stopped giving a fukk about "honor" and this game became next level. I just ride around looking for the jux :lolbron: . Will this eventually hurt my progress :jbhmm: I'm a casual by the way.

Don't care about spoilers, already saw one that I got mad at reading. I have an earlier save point if that helps.
There are minor tweaks to the game based on your honor
Different ending cutscenes
The NPCs may interact with you differently
If your honor is high or low enough get discounts on items
There's a side mission in the last chapter you have to honorable to do

So I've put a lot more time in the last week or so. I didn't even know about these challenges until just recently. Probably would have helped to improve my character had I known. Any must-do challenges or areas to focus on?

The only must do challenge imo is the master hunter because the last challenge for that category includes one of the legendary animals which is a panther.

I loved playing as Arthur in RDR2. It's a great game with just enuff action and down time to enjoy the scenery/hunt/explore. I'm not big into online gaming so while I have created my myself in Red Dead Online I'm not gonna get that deep into it.

Like @Killer Instinct said I'm feeling the mature nature and realism of RDR than the satire of GTA. I never thought I'd play an open world game better than GTA but RDR2 surpassed GTA V by miles imo.

I was wondering what do ya'll think Rockstar will have in store for RDR3 if they make one. Follow Jack after the events of RDR1 when he killed Ross? That is the most present part of the story. Or will they do another prequel type game like the early stages of the Van de Linde Gang?

RDR set after the first one ain’t even the Wild West anymore. Nobody want that shyt. They might as well go back one more time to the middle of the heyday of the Wild West. Either Dutch’s gang or another one

Herbalist challenges can be quite useful because you'll get a bunch of plants that you can use to craft special tonics. Other than that the hunter and survivalist challenges as well as you'll get a bunch of pelts from them.

Yeah I suppose it just becomes Grand Theft Auto after a certain time frame. Would still be interesting to see how Jack's story unfolds though but I didnt particularly like playing as him in RDR1, seemed like a bit of a a fukk boy.

4 year old Jack wandering around camp >>>>>>>>>>>>> 19 year old Jack jumping on the outlaw bandwagon just as it was going out of fashion.

Can't get with the Jack hate anymore after this one. RDR2 gave me a deeper appreciation for him. He's imo, the single most tragic and sympathetic character in the entire gang & series given that he's the one character that never had a choice. It was easy to dislike him after getting gut punched with Marston's death. We'd spent the better part of 20 hours with him and had gotten invested in seeing him have a fairytale ending, regardless of the fact that deep down, we knew it was unlikely. To have him replaced by a character we'd only interacted with for maybe 3 - 6 hours was jarring. It didn't help that Jack didn't have the immediate charm of his father and still sounded like he was going through puberty ("Work, you damn nag!",) even though technically at 19, he was still growing into a man, and I think that was the point. He was still growing mentally & physically, while simultaneously wrestling with the painful memories of a life he never asked for and wishing for one he could never have.

:whoa: Calm down partner

:lolbron:
how am i not calm?
Im just a casual gamer who is 45% through with the story. Pages ago, people were respectfully talking about the game - but now cats are wrecklessly posting about how the game ends and plots. I just asked this trend to stop. U read that with your own projected 'aggression.' :ld: PLUS, i didnt say anyone's name.....but we all know:

:whoa: It’s just a joke, mister. I agree with u, I’ve had numerous things spoiled in this thread. I was trolling, trying to diffuse the situation the way Arthur Morgan would
:heh:
