also some of y'all complaining about pace like this ain't a western :what: Once you get a hold of everything (the game is overwhelming at first) you can play at whatever pace you like

The end (especially most of the epilogue) kinda dragged too

Looks incredible with current gen graphics.

Just spent a good few hours exploring the desert. Theres also a few unique white dot events in these parts like
a guy throwing a bunch of corpses ino a mass grave then burning them and the sheriff of Tumbleweed executing a bounty when it gets brought to him.

There also seems to be a big black population in Tumbleweed :leon:

Just makes me wish they roped this part of the map into the main story, kinda strange why they didnt. I'm assuming they at least considered it but maybe they just didnt think it would work.

Pretty sure John said he hadn’t even been in most of New Austin in RDR1, so they’re already pushing it

Bruhh I’m looking forward to it but so far it ain’t living up to all this hype.
:francis: At all

It delivers beginning at the end of Chapter 2. It's a slow burn but it's needed to introduce everything you can do in the game.

They cut you loose around that time, and stop holding your hand. It gets real after that

I meant during the main story with Arthur. But I agree it kinda more or less doesnt make sense being able to explore NA with John, as like you said in RDR1 it's implied he's never been there before. That was my main gripe with it during my first playthrough.

This time around I've just blocked all the narrative shyt out and took it as one giant RDR1 easter egg. It's literally like playing the first game all over again with better graphics especially when you start doing bounty missions in Johns denim vest and shyt. It's actually quite impressive.

New Austin was put into the game mainly for online. On RDR 1 John said that he and the gang never went to there.

Like one poster mentioned that is the real reason the railroad wasn't built in Tumbleweed in RDR1.:mjpls:
