That's what I keep doing but the pelt comes out poor.

Man this game can be fukking infuriating. I been trying to get some perfect wolf pelt for a special coat for AGES....I finally get some then I get killed by a cougar and loose it. Thing is the cougar was no where near me and my horse still got spooked and bucked me off, what the fukk man. Then to make things worse the game automatically saves whenever you die so you can load to your last save point, man this is bullshyt.

So I'm doing the stranger mission where dude ask you to track down the gunslingers...
Get a lead on the widow gunslinger...riding my horse up there...
Start riding fast as fukk...man I go around a corner and run right into 3 dudes on horses...
Hit two of them...horses and people go flying everywhere...
Horse lands on two dudes and KILL THEM...I get up like "my bad"
My horse dies but the other horse gets up...
Third dude I didn't hit was like "MURDERER"
I'm like "hold up breh it was an accident"
Dude takes off...I jump on the other horse cause mine died...try to catch him...push the horse to much and it bucks me off
Next thing I know i get a thing saying I am wanted for 2 murders

So after getting charged for murder I continue on up into some marshlands still looking for the widow gunslinger...
Horse come galloping past me and dude on the horse just falls off...horse keeps going :baldhuh:
I get off to go up to him...some dude with blood on his face...no shirt...and suspender straps...dead as shyt...
I loot his body thinking it is going to be a side mission or something...nope...he had 5 dollars on him and after awhile I just kept it moving

Been playing this since like 0500. Had a pretty demonic playthrough. First thing I remember doing is experimenting with the fire bottles. First two I wasted, bad throwing. Got two more and burned two passersby alive. Pretty much an instant kill. I don't think they even scream. Buzzards will come and pick at the horses as they sit out in the heat. I threw the dudes' bodies on the railroad track and waited for the train to come. I heard they run on schedule so I was on my phone looking online to see if that were true. Then the fukking bounty hunters snuck up on me. So many of them and their damn dogs I just surrendered. Didn't even try to defuse because I got shot and killed that way last time. Motherfukker hit me square in the face drawing blood and I woke up in jail. They took all my money ($19) and let me loose. I killed three civilians on the way out of Valentine. I did a lot of random killing (which is looked down upon at the camp). I killed a hunter trapped in a bear trap. I pulled out my knife and he cowered in fear. Threw it right in betwixt his eyes. He called me a b*stard for joking about his situation. Had to do it. Killed a cowbreh because I greeted him and he said he "didn't take orders from me." Oh, yeah?Shot him down, looted him and stole his hat. I shoot horses and domestic animals for the negative karma. If you have a white paw on the minimap it means the animal has a fatal wound is likely on the ground moaning in pain. I blast on them to end it all. Before leaving the first camp I robbed and killed a rancher at his house and used his animals for target practice. A witness tried to report me for animal cruelty and that became yet another case of human cruelty. Now I have the bytch Sadie on the wagon and I already wish I could disembowel her. fukking loudmouth but Morgan is #HOH.
Oh yeah, still no answer on when I can use a barbershop. The one in Valentine never worked.
