Thank gawd for that manual save though...

They need to do something about the horses and predators though...you need to be able to identify them further away rather they just pop up out of nowhere...

So I helped the escaped prisoner who gives you the tip for a homestead near Strawberry but it doesn't show on my map how do I find them shyts?

Yeah I wondered about this as well, thought it was a glitch at first.

But basically homesteads work in either two ways - you can do them with someone in your gang as a companion activity - this will show up as an icon at your camp, usually after you've done certain story missions.

Or alternatively just note down the name of the place i.e. Watsons Cabin....find it on your map and just go there. No icon will show up it's just a case of you going there, maybe observing the property first so you can see whats what, then creeping inside and doing what you gotta do. I believe all of them are unique though.

They're called the Skinners and you encounter them during the epilogue - they're similar to the Murphy's in Roanoke Ridge because they just kidnap, torture and kill people for no apparent reason. They hideout in Tall Trees and every single time I ride though there they ambush me...like every single time. it's not even like theres just 3 or 4 of them either it's literally like 9/10 of them at a time.

Found Catfish Jackson's crib...its a black man and his son. Both were arguing with each other because the mother left to find work. Son's trying to make it work and the father's a gambling drunk. I walk in and try to defuse the situation and the father tells me to leave...I walk out and try to leave them be, he follows me out the door and starts taking shots...I turned around and shot him in the head. Son his under the bed crying and shyt talking about the money was in the chimney. I took it and looted the rest of the house. Found 2 cigarette cards he begged me not to take because they were a gift from his mother and I found a note from the mother saying that she found work and that the son just needs to send word and she'll get him out of there. After reading this I realized...I didn't put my bandana on in the midst of this confusion. He was still crying under the bed...so I shot him. I've already got a bounty and don't need anymore trouble.


All I got out of there was $50.
