We are in the shot attention span era. Most of the complaints are stupid. They are mad at that game being realistic and who gets mad at story being too long?
exactly, the story is fantastic. these mfs trying to 5, 10 hours at a time like its a netflix series. of course there are complaints, who the hell can enjoy a game like that?
especially a narrative driven game, never understood that
you just sat through 6 hours of character development on purpose then called the game boring...mad because they cant finish in one sitting...come on

Had one mission I couldn’t even start because they told me to go see some fur trader at this spot I had already been to, and I was like

“Yeah...about him...”

I don't know how this game is rated so high, it is not a a 10 game by any stretch of the imagination. Controls clunky, combat is mediocre, just an 7 or 8 at the most. It is a bore and a chore to play.

Only thing i would suggest is not to try to play it to beat it necessarily. Try more to wander around, go sight seeing, pick plants, hunt and stuff. Just traveling around the land you gon get into some fukkery. The way R* is making these games now, they really want you to assume the role of the character youre playing as. So, just going thru the story is gonna feel monotonous. You gotta really live out every aspect of this mans life in order to have some variety. They did this same shyt w/ Michael moreso in gtav. I was the same way when the first one came out. Got bored of it, then came back to it a few months later and had a blast.

It's not groundbreaking but Im loving the dialogue/interaction system. :mjlol: Accidentally pulled in front of a stage coach and the driver bossed up. This paranoid joker pulled out the strap on me and asked if I wanted to die on some

You could tell he'd had his pockets ran in the past. I defused the situation. :heh:

Arthur: "Now, now...I didn't mean nothin' by it..it was an accident!"

*I wait until he gets halfway down the street*

*Hits the :scheme: antagonize button*

These NPCs are fun to interact with. I've had some antagonize me or attempt to defuse instances of me antagonizing them. Others won't really entertain any foolishness and will walk away from it. Some just want the smoke and pull out the burners if you look at them wrong. Even more will tell on you.

:dead: It goes a long to making them feel alive. My favorite thus far was the NPC who drove by as I was hog tying a couple of would be thiefs. Dude rode by on his horse, stopped,
did a smooth double take, and then pulled off unprovoked on some :hubie:"Nope."

I'm glad I bought physical b/c if I bought digital, I would be pissed at the download time. It took almost 3 hours for the game to install on my PS4 yesterday. I'm just not playing right now.
