If you get into that, check out a couple other Coen bros flicks that are really only talked about amongst film geeks: the hudsucker proxy, barton fink, and miller's crossing

Miller's crossing is so underrated IMO.

Rian Johnson's first few movies were fantastic. His early movies remind me of Coen brothers movies.

Movies that I personally enjoy and find interesting/entertaining in different ways. I know they won't be for everyone so be warned.

Handsome pastor David Poe (Adrian Pasdar) and his psychologist wife, Clare (Cady McClain), have just relocated to Upstate New York with their young children, twins Jack (Austin Williams) and Emily (Amber Joy Williams). When Halloween inspires bizarre behavior in the twins, the Poes begin documenting their struggle to regain control over the children as their idyllic family life is torn apart by sociopathic -- and increasingly violent -- behavior.

It is based on the party game "would you rather," and centers on Snow's character, Iris, as she attends a dinner party, where she must partake in a life-threatening game to help her sick brother secure a donor.

A psychological thriller in which a deadly virus infects a small Ontario town.

Not exactly horror but...

A controlling, manipulative father (Christos Stergioglou) locks his three adult offspring in a state of perpetual childhood by keeping them prisoner within the sprawling family compound. The children are bored to tears in spite of distractions like Christina (Anna Kalaitzidou), an employee of their father's who makes regular visits to sexually service the son (Hristos Passalis). Increasingly curious about the outside world, the older daughter (Aggeliki Papoulia) hatches a plan to escape.

A tale about high school violence that unfolds on an ordinary school day, inside an American high school, filled with schoolwork, football, gossip and socializing. For each of the students we meet, high school is a different experience: stimulating, friendly, traumatic, lonely, hard.

A woman on the run from the mob is reluctantly accepted in a small Colorado town. In exchange, she agrees to work for them. As a search visits town, she finds out that their support has a price.

Fame-seeking members of the animal kingdom experience the sleazier side of show business in this puppet-filled parody.

Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight, though as their time together progresses, increasingly childish behavior throws the discussion into chaos.

Georges, who hosts a TV literary review, receives packages containing videos of himself with his family -- shot secretly from the street -- and alarming drawings whose meaning is obscure. He has no idea who may be sending them. Gradually, the footage on the tapes becomes more personal, suggesting that the sender has known Georges for some time. Georges feels a sense of menace hanging over him and his family but, as no direct threat has been made, the police refuse to help.

This dark ensemble-comedy is centered on the three Jordan sisters. Joy (Jane Adams) moves through lackluster jobs with no sense of purpose. Now employed teaching adults, she is dating a student, Russian taxi-driver Vlad (Jared Harris). Helen (Lara Flynn Boyle) is an esteemed poet who becomes amused by her perverted neighbor, Allen (Philip Seymour Hoffman). And eldest sister Trish (Cynthia Stevenson) is married to Bill (Dylan Baker), a psychiatrist with a very disturbing secret life.

I didn't like the actors of the children in the American version. The boy was tolerable, but I really hated CGM who played Abby (Eli).

Turned if off after the first scene where they made Epps (black character) look like a lame.

Small Time aka Waiting For The Man.. A small time drug dealer brings his 2 pals with him to the middle of the desert where they wait for the buyer.

Romeo Is Bleeding.. A crooked cop who works for the mafia, gets twisted in some sh-t involving a crazy Russian hit woman. I swear this movie is what inspired the Max Payne games.
