no i'm not. but let me ask you why are you questioning me instead of the people that are either lying or wilfully hating lol. i post a pic of a black man being honored for his service in the community whereas the guy who calls him a shytty human being based of another mans actions. you probably daped that up right. i post of pic of a black man ballin when someone else either lied or willfully hated on him saying he couldn't profit enough to pay bills and you questioning my motive. lol. mind you, these are people who probably pressed a play button thousands of time thanks to tde, so make it make sense.

like, do you even understand what is coming out of your thought process right now? how did we get here where this is acceptable behavior :jbhmm: lets talk about it.
none of this changes my opinion. you're tied to them in some way, that's my opinion

I would be proud to be if I was, just like reason and all their artists are. U think I would be ashamed at that just because tde is to a coli nikka’s chagrin? :mjlol: It’s a whole real world outside of these forum opinions :yeshrug:

Jay Rock got a 3x plat single (King's Dead) and a gold one (Win), on an album that did really well. And then they sat him on the bench. Nothing since 2018. Utterly insane how a label can wait over a decade for a rapper to blow up only to let him fall to the wayside like this. Now he's got a couple meh singles out for his upcoming album that have no traction.

Latto feature and still hasn't hit a million views in nearly a month. They ruined him.

this shyt still aint crack a million?! JESUS

Interview on the breakfast club barely cracked 60K after 3 days...of course its a wrap for this dude

TBC fell off awhile ago so the low views aren't shocking but I agree his career is effectively over. Another 3-5 wait for an album and he'll be damn near 40. His only shot is to get off TDE and drop again in a year.

Too late. I agree that they should have been doing that tho. Like why haven't we even heard Q, Jay Rock, Ab etc on other people's albums in the last couple years? All these dudes could have been on a Westside Gunn project, or Freddie Gibbs, or whoever.

This dude in this interview rehashing the same shyt AGAIN and not even talking about his album lol. Bringing up the SZA thing again, like he's hoping for headline still. Just weird as fukk.

And when he does talk about his music it's in a weirdly clinical way. "This is what the first verse is about, and this is what the second verse is about..." I never want to hear artists explain exactly what anything is about, or what something meant. Let your audience examine your shyt and find meaning.

if your raps aren't gonna stand out I'm damn sure not gonna listen to you explain it :heh:

And I listend to the album. Some stuff was like oh that sounds cool but nothing he said stuck with me outside of generic coming of age in hood adjacent circumstances.

Did TDE forget that Isaiah Rashad exists? :usure: or they can't nail that landing? :francis:

TDE was smelling themselves too much. Even got SZA out here making elevated hoe music, that I dont even mind, but when you factor in her obvious mental health from all this surgery you gotta look at the WHOLE THING sideways.

SZA is a superstar, she's fine. People say Doechii is popular but meh, whatever. No album out, no touring, and I'm not gonna react to some singles that are getting heavy push at a time when any woman rapper with a push can get attention/streams/views. We don't know whether she's next or not.

September here and still no TDE albums anyone wants this year. Jay Rock has presumably been pushed back (by the label and Drake, I'd imagine). Q seems like he's close but do they have time to drop two albums before the 4th quarter? I doubt it. Kendrick and some other heavy hitters allegedly dropping in November or December, which will push albums back at Interscope.

Doechii hasn't let me down musically, but I agree. Theres a push there.

SZA literally had random classic indie joints out there. Absolute slow burn.

Jay Rock should just go the Pusha T route frankly.

TDE tried to be too avant garde and let themselves get lapped. They didn't wanna end up like any other label...but forgot to DROP MUSIC :mindblown:

This is precisely why Drake is probably seeing Kendrick looking weak right now. Even Dreamville just stayed catering to their fans and didn't try to do something they weren't.

All these labels keep avoiding ending up like Rocafella or Bad Boy but forget you have to build something in the first place to be afraid to lose anything.

It's funny you say that because conway has a schoolboy Q verse and I wanna say one of them has an ab verse as well (might be jay worthy but I believe a griselda artist is on the song)

But yeah, it's very few times you hear them now, it's lowkey an event amongst the fans when people do see them featuring on someone's song, but that's obviously not good for them as artists
