also dude had milo yannaplous on, ben shapiro on, like he has some foul people on, if this was joe rogan hed be getting crucified lets be real. why is maehr not held to the same standard ?

Why do you believe this? Especially considering both Milo AND Ben Shapiro have both been on Joe Rogan's podcast multiple times and there was no outrage at all.

And for the record I still watch Real Time and used to watch it religiously but there have been a lot more options as far as political outlets over the years as alternatives to Bill Maher AND he has gotten less tolerable and more insufferable over the years. He's still a smart and quick witted guy but he doesn't leave much room for variance of opinion in his own POV and is very hostile to people who come to a different conclusion than he does.

I dont even care that he’s a centrist... that’s like every celebrity so what. If someone genuinely thinks Joe Biden is a safer bet to beat Trump than anyone else despite all the polling is irrelevant politically. I don’t like him putting literal racist cacs on the show and him laughing it up with them and not even cooking them. He has racist cacs who say ****** on his show and asks them about policy; laundering their image.
Maher been racist, elitist, zionist, limousine liberal, etc. The whole tone and makeup of the show itself is what changed. The guests used to make the show good. It used to be mostly differing degrees of leftists with a few conservatives. People like Cornel West and Jeremy Scahill were regulars. Even Chomsky was up there once.

I don’t watch it like I used to, but every time I see it now it’s a bunch of “moderates” with a pointed centrist anti-“identity politics” bent to the whole show.

Plus he puts on that bytch Bari Weiss and these “intellectual dark web” cacs and yucks it up with them about political correctness.

His political correctness shtick is what pisses me off. He tries too hard sometimes to look like the left wing version of these alt right talk show hosts. Like breh I know you’re a comedian but stop acting like a blow hard:stopitslime: I Hope rashida tlaib accepts his offer and makes him look stupid in the process.

I feel like he takes it easy on the conservatives too doesn’t give any push back and when he does the push back and he cowers:snoop:

He spends too much time with the special guest instead of just doing the round table discussions. Besides that I never liked how he could go in on every religion except for you know what and can never see any wrongdoing of a certain country. And for that, yeah its ok to be "PC" but for everything else he should be able to make a shytty joke about it and not get flack for it.

American commentators do not understand British politics.

Corbyn's problem is not that he is too left-wing to win. His problem is that, right now, Brexit is just eclipsing all other issues and the voters who traditionally vote Labour or could be persuaded to vote Labour are divided between people who support remain and people who want to leave the EU. There are a lot of other complications, but the point is that American political commentators are just clueless about Brexit and British politics.

I seen this, Delaney tried to say Dems flipped the House due to centrusm is absurd.

The squad and Justice Dems were borne out of those elections. The reason why there's been arguments between the establishment and progressives is because of all the new progressives in the House. Not to mention that all the policy platforms people are discussing are the shyt Bernie mainstreamed in 2016. Not to also mention that Bernie leads in beating Trumps in states where most Obama voters flipped to Trump. If people wanted centrism why are the number 2 and 3 front runners Bernie and Warren in the polls beating all these other well known establishment dems.

The only person they're losing to is the guy whose been the most recognizable face of the party that casual voters know most about. He certainly isn't winning cuz he's running the best campaign or proposing the most popular programs.

Hell, even a guy like Andrew Yang is polling ahead of a lot of these well known establishment Dems cuz he has new ideas and proposals. Comparing this period to the era of Walter Mondale and other populist candidates of the past is stupid given the fact that new media like web podcasts give these anti-establishment politicians and policy platforms fair play.

Also online donations and campaigning is also a game changer that helps neutralize traditional fundraising mechanisms to a degree. Bill is so out of touch its not even funny.

The Dems don't like to mention that the one's who got the most financial backing in 2018 was those centrist Dems. Justice Dems and Our Revolution just started that year and they already are making huge strides considering everyone thought they wouldn't do shyt. It's a stupid talking point for a dying institution.
