youre free to mask up and hide inside for the rest of your life. no ones stopping you
15 months of what? There is zero chance that you were masking up or facing any sort of lockdown for even 12 months.

QUEENS NY
the bush years gave him his best material
The bush years gave him material because Republicans weren't afraid to go on his show. They were evil but weren't quite off the deep end yet, so if you got the right panel you could have a really entertaining show. Now the party is off the deep end, no sane republican, if any still exist, will go on the show because there is no way to defend the parties actions. The few Republicans you get are wack jobs that 15 years ago wouldn't have a voice anywhere. How the show is a circle jerk about cancel culture

Maher isn’t a centrist Dem. He is a libertarian and has said it over the years.

Who keeps upping this thread?

It is true that Maher started out as a libertarian and sure sounds like one now. But there was a stretch where he was very supportive of a more socialist economic agenda. I can't remember the exact time frame, but I think it overlapped mostly with the Obama years.

I think Maher really took a strong turn towards his current cranky self after he was scheduled to speak at Berkeley's commencement and students protested it mostly on the basis of comments that they perceived to be Islamophobic. Since then, he's basically been on a non-stop "fukk millennials/zoomers" tip.

I just want to note that he is 100% an Islamophobe. And his inability to see his own blind spots is why we’ve all stopped fukking with him.

WHen was this? I watched this show for damn near 10 years, and never saw that.

He is an Islamaphone and a zionist, despite being a proud athiest.
