There is no way you can't find your own unattractive unless u were brainwashed. I got into a little debate with two teen black girls about this same subject. Saying some "I never found black guys attractive, nappy haircut, wide noses, fat lips and colored skin is so ugly to me" Yet they both harbor those same physical traits.

And why must it be self-hate? Why could it not be an attempt to identify with the center of exchange through which all signifiers of beauty flow through (A blonde white woman, let's just say). Are those two concepts equitable? Could the latter concept be seen even in someone who exclusively dates Black women (I certainly think it can, but I'd like to read your thoughts on this).
