It's a good loss ... They'll start to play like Brazil again.

It would have been an injustice if they won playing this style of football.

I agree 100%. People in the other threads are saying Brazil is finished and the old fashioned style is dead but there are kids and teens in Brazil who will never forget this game and pain. One day it will be them in the yellow shirts. System will be revamped, it has been before on much less embarrassing outcomes and results.

this. its a sad day in world football when Germany plays more beautiful football than Brazil. they were lucky to get to this point considering all their goa came off set pieces. they played like Germany of the past while Germany played like Brazil of the past. sad.

-Worst Brazil defeat ever, surpassing 7-2 against Italy in 1919.

-Worst Brazil defeat in WC, surpassing 3-0 against France in 1998 WC final.

-Worst defeat for a host country, surpassing Sweden 5-2 defeat to Brazil in 1958 WC final.

-Since 1974, this was the first time a team scored 5 goals in the first half of a WC game.

-First time since 1998 that Brazil conceded 5 goals or more in a WC.

-First home defeat for Brazil in official match since 1975.

-First host team to not play in the main stadium of the tournament.

Are we sure that it wasn't David Moyes managing Brazil? :dwillhuh:

Isn't this the same fanbase that BEHEADED A REF on the field?

Couldn't of happened to a more deserving bunch.

Well no not exactly. Those fans were Brazilian, but it was a club team. That's like blaming Yankees fans for that Giants fan getting stabbed to death a few years ago by a Dodgers fan.

Too far away for me to make distinctions. I'll reposition it like this...Soccer fans in Brazil beheaded a ref and paraded his head around the field. Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know there were no arrests. Couldn't have happened to a better bunch.
