If you watch the sport, the answer is obvious.

Kobe played in the triangle. It essentially is dictated by post position and if you have the right stars, ends up being 2 man ball.

There is no pick & roll, full court, or nellie ball under Phil Jackson.

Pat Riley ran a lot of set plays, and mixed in some iso, which allows any active back court member to rack up some assists.

Its like saying that quarterback A is better than QB B because he threw for more yards, but QB A is in a west coast offense and QB B is in a run first offense.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Its not that Kobe does not have the ability, he is in a completely different offense from Wade.

Sad thing is, most of the purported Jordanstans are open to the possibility that Lebron is going to be better than Jordan. We will wait and see. IT was clear to most of us that Kobe was not going to be as good as jordan (circa 2004). Even the stans admit it now.

THere is no Jordan dikkriding. Most people who call him the GOAT will say "JOrdan was an a$$hole, but the best I've ever seen play."

And Kobe hasn't even surpassed Magic.
