its amazing how 90% of the people in this thread pretty much just make up their own definitions of what an atheist is, then try to argue against a definition they just made up themselves.
i am an atheist. i believe in logic, and rational thinking, and the scientific method (amongst other things). i reject the belief in things that have ZERO evidence to support them.
Here is the issue I have with atheists.
All of these things you listed are human concepts limited by the parameters of our senses and powers of perception. Humanity is one minuscule part of an inconceivably vast universe how can you possibly be so arrogant as to claim there can't be anything that is simply outside of our understanding.
It's like a world of blind people rejecting the concept of the color spectrum because they have no evidence to support it.
