Hopefully it's a good flick as it will be the first comic book film I plan on going to a theater to see since the first X-Men joint. The whole premise of a comic book movie that doesn't take itself too seriously is appealing to folks like me. This film might pull off a kind of sleeper hit status when it's all said and done because it will attract both comic book types along with others who tend to shun that genre for the obvious reasons. The trailer for the new X-Men for instance, has a scene with Jennifer Lawrence where she says something like, "That's why I'm here. To fight!" I almost choked as that has to be one of the most unintentionally and hilariously horrible lines I've ever heard in any film. It's borderline parody. Yet, the far majority of comic book films have that kind of cringe worthy dialogue with actors and actresses (little cacs mainly) who fail to make any of it even somewhat believable. Then here comes Deadpool to make a mockery out of all of it continuing the tradition from when he was first introduced in a comic. I'm loving it, and I hope it lives up to the trailers.

I'm Marty McFly yet you're the one stuck in the past:ohhh: we talked about it yesterday breh. I said what I had to say and the other brehs said what they had to say. We came to an agreement and that was that :yeshrug: sorry you missed out. But you're more than welcome to keep arguing with yourself or the wind or the sea if that's what floats your boat. But I'll remember to call everyone who gives a shyt and tell them that you're not a fan of the movie.

Could've/Should've been doper, but yeah, the direct's cut was a solid 7.5/8. It had the makings to be a 9 tho. That should've been rated R too.

Having the makings is all the more reason why it was garbage:scust:

That rooftop scene with the ninjas? All those ninjas gone to waste:mindblown:? That shyt was a joke breh....Rather then spend time on choreography they would rather just shoot Wolverine in the back with some damn arrows with strings attached:dahell:?Why would you even bring all those arrows with cables attached anyway? Wolverines power isn't superstrength,if the poison is what bought him down, regular arrows would've been enough.

Oh you wanted to add some drama? How about adding some damn action and having Wolverine fight a couple hundred ninjas:wow:,should've been more like that Kill Bill scene....especially since I thought that's what I was going to get when they previewed the ninjas in the beginning.

Only to play some cheap ninja music, show them running across the rooftop like they was about to rush Wolverine....only to have them not really do a damn thing:damn:

fukk both of them Wolverine movies, one for never giving you hope it would ever amount to shyt....and the other one for giving you hope but still not amounting to shyt:mjlol:

Not too interested in this Deadpool movie, looks like a little too much CGI.

Deadpool looks cringeworthy and wack. Just being honest.

"Did I leave the oven on?"

... :comeon:

Maybe as a comic book it works, but on film it just seems like lazy comedy.
The way ppl are lapping it up as some next shyt is quite scary but then again I was never into south park so I am missing the party. I don't know where the notion it's a commentary mocking the comic book films genre, comes from. Some people really over think things

So far I haven't found any jokes from the trailers funny:patrice:

I never read the comics, but most of the jokes in the trailer are cringeworthy and borderline embarrassing. If thats who the character is then so be it, but its a struggle to hear for me. I will still see it off the strength off the R rating and that it looks very different from the traditional superhero movies.
