It's looking like all he needed was a shot and the right system. Now before we get ahead of ourselves, lets not fall victim to revisionist history; most dudes on SOHH were shytting on Bush and J-Lova was one of the few dudes on there to consistently defend him.

:ahh:

I remember folk shytting on me when I said he was a good RB but misused by NO.

Feels good brehs...feels good

:ahh:

I said the same thing.

Dudes were like, :shaq2:"Nah, NO is the best place for him....if he cant produce there, he wont run anywhere"

Team Reggie! :myman:

cmon lets not act like it was completely the saints system and that he hasnt improved. i dont care what team you would you have put him on early, he would have struggled. the guy was a fish out of water going from playing in the two hand touch pac 12 to the nfl.

No running back or receiver will thrive in n.o. because they spread the ball.around way too much, and while reggie was in n.o. he basically was a slot receiver. Jimmy Graham might be the only constant in that system besides Brees.

Glad to see him playing so well with Miami. Like others have been saying all along, I always thought he just needed consistent touches/carries to be successful. He'd get like 5 carries and 4 passes thrown to him in NO and then people would wonder why he wasn't doing shyt. No player gets in a rhythm that way.

Reggie wasn't ready in NO. Idk if it was our RB coach or what but he would dance instead of hitting the hole. he's finally gotten out of that (i'm guessing havent seen him much in miami)

I guess I gotta come clean and admit i was one of the people sh!tting on him in MO.

Hell even when the Dolphins signed him i was sh!tting on him and I'm a Dolphins fan. I dont know.. i liked Daniel Thomas for his power. Never been a fan of the small speedy Marshall Faulk type RB's

But let calm down folks. He played well in the first 2 games but its only been that; Two games.

:what: now i know you can't be from dade

Err... I'd take Marshall Faulk type back on my team any day of the week and I'm a 9er fan... Son would have me :to: running all over the 9ers D.

Also, the dude ran for 1000 yards last year and had 300 receiving yards on one of the worst teams in the league. Not bad at all to me.

:lolbron: Remember Rebel calling me out my name, too.

Anyone could see that he was misused there. But even in NO I think he still played well. The expectations were just ridiculously high...which is understandable.

Glad he's doing the damn thing.
