Peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich
Description
The peanut butter and Lucy banana sandwich, or peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich, sometimes referred to as an Elvis sandwich or simply the Elvis, consists of toasted bread slices with peanut butter, sliced or mashed banana, and sometimes bacon. Honey is seen in some variations of the sandwich

We are lucky to witness the media try and do the same in this era wit Marshall, and be loud in enough in number & have other platforms to kill that plan quick. :camby:

That's not really happening though. On some level you have a minority of white talking heads (ie Peter Rosenberg) who will sometimes claim Eminem raps better than everyone...but overall I would say the vast majority of white rap "gatekeepers" have never fukked with Eminem. Look at the terrible reviews Eminem has always gotten on Pitchfork, Spin, and other white publications. Nor do you see reputable national publications like the New York Times or WaPo writing think pieces on him, or even covering him. All those publications have provided breathless praise and attention to rappers like Jay-Z, Kanye, and Kendrick over the last 10 years or so.

In short there hasn't been an Eminem revival or revision movement. I'm sure that when he dies various white people will claim he was the best...but it won't be coming from tastemakers or gatekeepers. Remember, those tastemakers and gatekeepers were the people who created the Elvis mythology. I'm not denying Elvis had impact or made some "good" music...I'm fine with conceding that. But does Elvis have a classic album, or material comparable to great rock artists/bands from that era like the Beatles or Stones? Popularity and MEDIA helped drive the Elvis myth. That's not happening with Eminem.

I don't think Elvis is king of anything, nor do I think Eminem is GOAT.

I simply thought it was kinda funny that somewhere in America, there is a young man thinking to himself, fukk, I wish Ray Charles could see lol

Like I resonate with that, I too wish Ray Charles had vision, it's just kinda funny to say that outta nowhere.

Oh and you can hop off my dikk at any time playboi.
:gucci:Nikka fukk you.

Where I shouldn't be

......This is from his Wikipedia page:
Marshall Bruce Mathers III (born October 17, 1972), known professionally as Eminem (/ˌɛmɪˈnɛm/; often stylized as EMINƎM)....with Rolling Stone placing him in its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and labeling him the "King of Hip Hop".[3]

If you don't know he debuted the same year Wu dropped Truimph, Usher's You make Me Wanna, Missy's Sock it to me and BIG's Ill be Missing You came out; all seismic records in the RnB/ Hiphop market and yet NONE of those artist were labelled 'the best' off of their debut by the so -called impartial outlets like he was.

The great white hope etymology is a real psyche since early 1900s and has been used in every field we enter and eventually dominate. Don't be fooled that the method this time (in Rap vs Rock & Roll) was different, just accept its taking place and hold true to what you believe and like, rather than this false-exercise in labelling.
The point remains, they tried and failed as now we not only have the ability to the make the music but also the financial foothold and access to control the narrative better too.

All facts. They love our art, but they hate us.

It's in their DNA to rob and pillage, so they do the same thing with our music that they did with our land and spirituality. They stole it, and then claimed it as their own.

That Elvis shyt is still going on today. This Trump-loving middle-aged cac bytch at my job LOVES Post Malone :snoop:.

I remember when Eminem came out, cacs who claimed to hate Hip-Hop were blasting his shyt the most :mjpls:.

The same goes for singers. Adele has a nice vocal timbre, but she has limited range and is flat/pitchy at times. There are countless Black singers better than her, but she's promoted f a as this elite vocalist. Shyt, you could walk into any Black church on Sunday and find better.

It's like Paul Mooney said, everybody wanna be Black, but nobody wanna be Black.

Bruh!! Thats what i be saying!! These white folks be praising the most basic singers! They don't be shyt! I be offended.
