Ray Allen hit maybe the biggest shot in NBA Finals history. He didn't just chase the ring, he caught it.
I'm old school. We look down on ring chasers..
so he should have stayed on a team that annually tried to trade him? He should stay loyal to a team that was not staying loyal to him? No honor in going down with the ship. Only death. Not to mention I can safely assume he is pretty happy with how signing in Miami panned out.

Yeah, and Danny had him in trades at every deadline for his last couple years.. If I remember right he got traded for OJ Mayo but it fell through some how..he still aint shyt thoughWasn't he having problems with Rondo?
I don't think it's a white thing. I think it was a matter of the team he signed with.I don't understand why people get mad when players make boss moves and do what they want in there career I would only expect this from white people.

Fair enough I guess I just view the world differently.I don't think it's a white thing. I think it was a matter of the team he signed with.
You know what's crazy about the current collective bargaining agreement in the NBA?
Ray could literally sign with a team that's in game 7 in the finals and he would be eligible to play in that final game.

Anybody who gets actually upset over a player leaving their favorite team, most likely has some issues brehMe either...we always talk about about how they( owners/GMs, etc) have all the power and the players are slaves, etc. but when these players actually make BOSS moves and take control over their careers, people get upset and the whole narrative changes...
This is interesting as fukk. You know what's crazy about the current collective bargaining agreement in the NBA?
