I think they realized that they probably made a mistake either turning him heel or not giving a reason for why he turned heel or both.

Lashley getting a lil push though, hope he has a long reign.

Given how it played out, despite the "OMG" moment of the initial heel turn, I wish they hadn't done it. Especially when you look at the bigger picture. A Seth/Dean vs AOP vs The Revival feud for the titles may have gotten the tag division out of the bushes and given it some much needed legitimacy.
