I dont believe we will reach a point where Sunday football on network TV does not exist. That would be the quickest way to lose a lot of money.

Keep in mind, Disney saw the difference in ratings from when Monday Night Football was exclusively on ESPN and when they simulcast it on ABC and choose to put more games back on ABC.

Smackdown will still be on cable tv (going to USA) and NXT is moving to CW (Broadcast tv). They doing exactly what the NFL is doing, covering all bases. Thursday night football does great streaming numbers on Amazon prime.

This is a bold move but potentially genius as they will be the first “live sport (entertainment)” to air on Netflix. People can say what they want to say about them but they are still the biggest streaming platform around and this could lead to more eyes watching the wwe product.
