Raw gets abysmal lowest non-NFL rating since 1996. What would you do to turn it around?

There needs to be more of a focus on storylines. You could skip an episode of RAW and you really wouldn't miss anything. Two guys put on a great match, ok now what? They don't give us a reason why we should care about their feuds

People shyt on Russo (and rightly so at times) but at least his crazy ideas were something. Mix wacky, entertaining, soap-opera storylines with the athleticism and wrestling ability of the guys of today, and I'll tune in every single week. There just simply isn't enough fukkery

But it's fake so you can always have the guys who can talk and have charisma at the top. The Brock/Punk interactions pre match looked ridiculous and the build was lackluster. The match was awesome because they worked hard at making it look good. Brock and Finn can have an awesome match if they both try.

Right, which is why the size comparison makes no sense. Balor might be small like McGregor/Mayweather but he doesn't have a 1/10th of the charisma, so it looks goofy to have him out there on that level.

Being an indie star without charisma is impossible. It takes a next level ability to connect to not get shyt on by overly cynical fans. You don't know what charisma is, do you?

They also know how to work a match and know how to market themselves.

I don't watch WWE but I heard Braun was doing some interesting things before he was injured. He was dope but hes only on for 15 minutes a show so what are you doing with the other 2:45? If the whole vibe of the show isn't wavy, it doesn't matter if one character is. He's gonna get lost in the wackness.

The show is culturally out of touch. Not a single person under 30 (regardless of race) is listening to hard rock like that but its still the theme songs for Raw and Smackdown. They gotta update their presentation and expand their market.

You got 70 year old white dudes scripting promos for 28 year olds who listen to Kendrick backstage. Let these young dudes cook and let them dictate the product.

Dave Meltzer reported that this was the worst non-holiday numbers Raw has drawn since 1996. From 8-9PM Monday Night Raw drew its lowest number of viewers since their last July 4 show (for foreign readers, it's US Independence Day on July 4 and it's a widely celebrated day to skip work and BBQ). He noted this show did worse than the pre-taped London show *. He also stated that while the NBA playoff game certainly hurt WWE, this show was down 20% from the same week last year, which went up against a stronger NBA game. So "it's not like the competition is down this year," as there are indeed playoffs every year. Overall the ratings were down 20%, and down 40% in teenage boys.

I would usually say that it's because of other factors (people don't watch TV, NBA), but enough is enough. It's time to stop the awkward programming.
