If only the E could gurantee all that damn nostalgia for every 3 hr raw coming up:snoop:

There wasn't really THAT much this time out tho'. I mean yeah, there was Rock and the DX reunion, Taker appearance, and the legends segment... but a lot of the nostalgia was to a minimum. Of course the nostalgia stuff helped, but it wasn't on overdrive like these kinds of shows usually are. The usual legends like Piper, Slaughter, Duggan, Mae Young, etc... got about a minute of TV time combined. I think there was more emphasis than usual on making sure the current shyt was highlighted most.

I still think the 3 hrs. is a bad idea... but it's plain to see the brand split is basically over, so it would take that much time to feature everyone important on the show every week. For them to get everyone relevant (and give light to some up-n-comers) every week with the brands combined, 2 hours wouldn't cut it. That's a big ass roster when you put the two together.

WWE Raw on Monday, July 23 recognizing 1,000 episodes scored a WrestleMania-level 3.84 rating for all three hours (3.48 first hour, 3.95 second hour, and 4.09 final hour). The regular two hours averaged to a 4.02 rating.

A show with Vinny Mac, all of DX, Bret Hart, Brothers of Destruction putting in work and a Rock promo isn't a nostalgia packed show? Not to mention Rock got physical twice and the foolishness with Brock/Hhh...I'm just saying last night we the fans got treated to a straight feast of old attitude era stuff mixed in with some greatness of Dbry.

The current stuff reallly wasn't highligted outside of Daniel Bryan and Punk. I hope that Smackdown fully becomes the young show again if they are gonna try to hold onto the brand split, keep the callups coming and keep making Shemus the king of that show. But if 3 hr Raws gonna work they need to keep all those cats on Raw and off Smackdown so they don't over expose some of these dudes more than they are.

You know, if the writers can consistently produce quality material/Vince stops with his last minute shenanigans, this third hour of RAW might actually be doable.

Hell, they can use the first hour of raw to highlight the young talent, invite legends back, and promulgate various social media platforms. :ohhh:

Bruhs, are we about to :eat: possibly?:lolbron:

Keep this in mind.... just last week, for no real reason, they had the Big Show come out to bury the tag team division.
